FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO YOU TAKE MY INSURANCE?

We are not contracted with any insurance companies. This means that you are responsible for paying for the services up-front.

If you have questions about how this process works or want a quote for your care, you can feel free to reach out to us and we will help answer these questions to the best of our ability. Understanding your insurance coverage is your responsibility.

CAN I SUBMIT MY BILLS TO INSURANCE FOR REIMBURSEMENT?

Yes.

Itemized insurance receipts will be made available for physical therapy appointments after your visit within your patient portal. You may or may not be entitled to reimbursement for my treatment fees, depending on your insurance policies and coverage. Understanding your coverage is your responsibility. Itemized receipts are only provided for physical therapy services.

DO YOU WORK WITH MALE PATIENTS?

Absolutely.

WHAT IS A “SUPER-BILL?”

A super-bill is an itemized receipt for your paid services that includes the appropriate codes and information needed for insurance reimbursement. Super-bills are only provided to patients receiving physical therapy services.

HOW OFTEN WILL I NEED TO COME INTO PHYSICAL THERAPY?

It depends. Most SisuPT patients receive a total of 4-6 visits over a period of 1-3 months for their injury or recovery. But it really does depend on how severe your injury is and the extent to which you will require close care and guidance.

Typically, patients are encouraged to return to therapy every-other week for follow-up appointments. Your physical therapist will provide you with a robust rehab plan between visits, to keep you trending in the right direction.

WHAT MAKES SISUPT DIFFERENT?

You will receive a custom plan for your injury rehab and have someone in your corner. Working with SisuPT is like hiring a coach for your rehab. You’ll have a partner-in-crime and someone you can access when things don’t go as planned.
